Is the SAT II US History test harder on the May test date?

I ask this because it would make sense that the May test be harder. I don’t mean harder as in the materials but the curve. Because by that time, all the students will have finished their AP US history course and will be well prepared for the SAT II test. If the mean score is higher, than the curve will be worse right?
