Which effect do you like better in movies — when all the lights are red or blue?

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

I like blue myself, it gives you this cold, dark feeling…creepy. Red on the other hand makes everything look kind of blurry to me, But I still like it…maybe you guys will have no idea what i’m talking about. I was just watching Constantine and he walks into this club where one part of it is all red and the other is all blue, I thought it was cool♥

Satanic? They used it to represent the five wounds of Christ until Constantine changed it to a cross. Good job guys.

Bipolars(or similar mental disorder)-do you avoid certain things?

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

‘Things’ that you feel might trigger an episode, or that would ‘fester in your mind’ and work to your disadvantage should an episode occur? Myself, I am manic dep one, and I avoid watching (or rewatching) movies that center around ‘alternative realities’ (ie Matrix, Constantine); I also avoid hard, moving music that ‘pumps me up’. I am also cautious about anything religious or being too spiritual (no offense). Does this make sense to you?

The Bible’s questionable origin. How can Christians still be so strict on it?

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

For starters, whether or not those of you reading this want to accept it, this IS FACT. No matter how much you don’t like it, it is true.

The real Bible contains hundreds, maybe thousands of scriptures to it. The Bible that exists in our society today was composed of constantine and rulers of varying religions at the Council of Nicea. This counicil highly edited the Bible, to shape it into something they thought that their people would cling to; something that would help create an unquestionable society and story. The purpose of it’s shaping was not to tell the word of God as accurately as possible. It’s scriptures were specifically included to get people to believe 1 specific story, rather than the huge, questionable, and not-too-appealing real Bible. Wouldn’t you rather like to follow the real word of God instead of the publicity stunt we have today? How can you still follow it?
I would like to thank “kait” for giving me an intellegent and informative answer. I wasn’t asking my question to flame the Bible, I truly wanted to know why people followed it so and presented what I knew. I closed it because kati’s answer is all I need to know. She’ll, of course, be recieving Best Answer after 4 hours…
I’d also like to thank “Kathy S” for her obviously thought-about and educated answer, rather than the mindless, robotic babble everyone else (besides kait) gave me.

So atheists, what other messiah followers, out of many as you say, has survived for 2000 years?

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

I only know of Jesus being the only to survive 2000 years, if there were so many, why didn’t anyone else grab the attention of Constantine?

Makes you wonder doesn’t it. :) What I mean is that some one you said that in Jesus’ time and area there were many other people claiming to be messiahs, yet it was Jesus who outlasted them all, why is that?

That’s what I mean. :)
