What would you write in an essay that would make 6th and 7th graders vote for you for school vice president?

i am running for vice president in my school. this has to impress teachers to get me into top 3 candidates and students to ultimately vote for the vice president. i need to write this in a brief paragraph. what are some things that i can write that would make 6th and 7th graders want to vote for me?(also this is usually a popularity contest and im not the popular type of students so i need something really good)

Why would people vote for a candidate who has already pulled out of the race?

In New Mexico alone, there were over 3,000 votes cast for Edwards and Richardson even though they have already left the race. With such a narrow margin between Clinton and Obama, these votes would have better served these two candidates. Are these people just so stupid that they don’t know whats going on, or are they just hardheaded enough to think they should still vote for their candidate, which was just an overall waste of their time.

How do you determine your political vote?

Are you a random voter? I actually know ppl who do this. Do you do your homework and make sure the candidates agree with your views and then vote accordingly even though you know your guy doesn’t stand a chance? Give up and just vote party views? Just think it’s all a big scam and avoid it entirely?
Think the process is flawed, but better than nothing? All views welcome.
