I’m planning on immigrating out of the USA, I’ve had a family member do this, but didn’t keep in contact. How long after moving to say, England, Or Australia would it take for an American to pick up the lingo (and with diligent effort) drop the American accent?
I know it’s do-able, since Actors do this in movies, then when they get interviewed they revert back to their accent. So to clarify I mean how long would it take for someone adamantly trying and practicing to get rid of the American accent?

I have heard alot of good reviews about bare minerals, the makeup line. does it work well with african american skin such as coverage? It seems so light, wondering if it would work.

I live in Australia and just purchased a small power tool from america, which has a rechargeable battery. But the 2 prongs that came out of the charger to go into the power point are dead straight and parallel to each other, but my power point needs the prongs to be on a slight angle to each other to be able to fit in my power outlet. Can I get an adapter for this? What does an american power outlet look like, are they the same as Australian?
The tool is a lyman Power debburing tool.

I am going to Spain for 90 days and would like to be able to buy groceries, travel, and be able to use the ATMs. I do not want there to be any problems with fees or anything of that nature. I have Bank of America now and I have a visa debt and credit card with them. Will they work? Will the Euro 6000 ATMs charge me a fee?

What American banks charge no fees in Spain? I know Navy Federal does not but I am not in the Navy.

My husband recently found out he has Diabetes. We bought the Sugar Busters book and it looks like the American Diabetes Cookbook has several things in a recipes that Sugar Busters said to avoid. Both books are great, but I’m new at this so I’m confused. Thank you for any info you can give me.

What would be the best position for me to play in american football?

I Currently Play Rugby, and can take a harsh beating and also dish out a beating or 2, Im 17 Years Old and im 5ft 4, I Can Run 100m In 12.4 Secs and from rugby i am good at making fast manouvers to dodge people.
